Sants-Montjuïc
From Palau Nacional through the plain to the sea
In the Montjuïc area we can find the National Museum of Art of Catalonia (MNAC), which stands out for its collection of Romanesque art. From it you can see a good view of the Font Màgica, a symbol of the city.
Near the MNAC is the German Pavilion, designed by Mies van der Roe for the International Exhibition of Barcelona of 1929. Some meters away it is the Olympic site, crowned by the telecommunications tower of Montjuïc, designed by Santiago Calatrava.
Descending to the Sants area, we can find The Parc de l'Espanya Industrial, which drew inspiration from the four elements of nature.
